Alpha Nu Omega Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa Welcomes You
We are the Alpha Nu Omega Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society (PTK)

Our Mission
Four friends had a vision to continue the Alpha Nu Omega Chapter journey after graduation in 2015. This became a reality in October 2015 where the Alpha Nu Omega Alumni Association was formed. Graduates would be able to join and continue the path of enriching other students lives and partnering within the community to benefit organizations and people. As a previous chapter members, these friends understood the drastic impact that Phi Theta Kappa had throughout their college career. The four main Hallmark's that Phi Theta Kappa is based upon is Leadership, Service, Scholarship, and Fellowship. All of which still remain important today in their alumni association. Come and join us today as we continue the tradition!

My Story
Shanna Boley, a non-traditional student, mother, and military spouse felt it was crucial to belong to a club or something bigger than student life in college. Many times the invitation for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society was mailed to her home and many times it was thrown directly into the trash. What was so important about this club? It was merely a ploy to obtain her money and yet there were grade requirements? After having returned to college after having her son, she met a fellow student that tried to recruit her into this club, that appeared superficial at best. What she did not realize at the time, this was not a club, this was an Honor Society that accepted students based on their academic achievements. That quarterly grade requirement was necessary to drive students to continue to strive for better and not settle for mediocre. Phi Theta Kappa changed her life, leadership abilities, and strengthened core team building skills that she uses daily and aspires for a future job position.
